What is Kemoplat (cisplatin)?
Kemoplat injection is a chemotherapy agent, which has a platinum base and is generally recommended for patients who are suffering from ovarian cancer, lymphomas, metastatic testicular tumors, germ cell tumours, small cell lung cancer, bladder cancer that have spread all over.
These platinum complexes then to release a vivo reaction, where in it binds and causes a crosslinking of DNA that activates the apoptosis which is a programmed death cell. In addition, it is used for the treatment of lung cancer. Few of its other common names are cis-diamminedichloroplatinum and cisplatinum. It came under the primary member of a class of anti-cancer drug that also has oxaliplatin and carboplatin present in it.

The less severe ones are decrease in the level of calcium, potassium and magnesium, nausea, bleeding risk due to low palate count, anemia, metallic taste of food, leg, feet and hand swelling.
