What is Docetere (docetaxel) dr. reddy?
The drug Docetere is a strong anti cancer agent and is generally quite commonly used for the treatment of prostate cancer, ovarian, neck, head, breast and gastric and several non-small cell lung cancer which is either taken with some other medicines or sometimes even alone. It belongs to the taxane group and gradually stops the generation and growth of cancer cells. It has come out with proved results of positively treating patients who are in the severe, advanced stage of metastatic breast or lung cancer who has to undergo anthracycline-based chemotherapy. In certain cases, it also has been proved more effectual than doxorubicin, fluorouracil and paclitaxel.
What is the appropriate dosage of Docetere (docetaxel) dr. reddy?
The recommended dosage is 100mg/m2 and should be repeated three times a week. It must be strictly taken after doctor’s recommendation.
What are the Warning & Precautions before taking Docetere (docetaxel) dr. reddy?
Constantly check should be done over regularity of blood count and liver blood function. It is recommended to go for treatment together with corticosteroids before you get started with this medicine.
