Sorafenat is a medicine which is generally use in the chemotherapy treatment for cancer. This is a medicine that inhibits the growth & spread of cancer cells in the body. The medicine is specifically used to treat Cancer in Kidneys which is also termed as advanced Renal Cell Carcinoma. The medicine can also be used to treat liver cancer as well.




Points to be taken in consideration before using Sorafenat:





Before taking Sorafenat, you must check for:


  • Any allergies that may get worsened by the use of Sorafenat.
  • The patient is having any other problems related to kidney & liver other than cancer.
  • Patient (In case Of Females) is Pregnant.
  • Any History of heart attacks or stroke.





How Should Sorafenat be taken?


Sorafenat should be taken on an empty stomach twice a day. One should take the medicine one hour prior to a meal. This medicine can be taken as long as the cancer is in control without any worse effects. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
